ents on it. First of all, I am outraged AND confused as to why Oprah even got involved with this KFC promotion to begin with. Oprah has basically left the black community hanging in limbo while she has been embraced by white AmeriKKKa, white soccermoms, white stay-at-home moms, white MILFS, etc., while distancing herself from anything black except the occasional Denzel Washington visit to her set or that dumb, ass sucking best bud of hers Gayle King.
So......why in the free world would Oprah Winfrey get behind the massive issuing of CHICKEN of all things to black America? Now, I'm sure she didn't go into this concerning herself with us po' lil' black folk. After all, Opra

Oprah knew damn well that BLACK PEOPLE were going to go apeshit behind some damn grilled chicken! I have yet to see one white person come out of a KFC restaurant with bucket of this greasy shit! Black people.....well, in this case, NIGGAS were raiding KFC restaurants across the country with coupons in hand! I was completely oblivious to this bullshit because one, I DON'T WATCH NOR ENDORSE OPRAH WINFREY and two, I was on my way back from Houston, TX and just by chance, decided to stop at a KFC and get something to eat other than Mickey D's. Imagine my surprise when I started seeing dudes damn near about to jack up the manager and bitching abou
t these coupons. I turned to my fiancee like, "what the hell is all of this about?" We truly were not in the know. It was only after we got home and saw all the news reports were we taken aback by all of the dust-up behind Oprah's "brilliant" (sarcasm) marketing ploy. For the life of me, I cannot see or understand why Oprah would get involved with the massive doling out of grilled chicken, which is stereotypically associated with black people. Oprah doesn't even acknowledge or is supportive of black people AS A WHOLE to begin with. It's common knowledge how she refuses to acknowledge POSITIVE rappers, who are a particular demographic of our people. The Hip-Hop community doesn't embrace Oprah Winfrey. I am personally offended that Oprah would seemingly play into this widely known and believed stereotype. Yes, I realize that white people eat chicken and that the majority of Oprah fanbase are middle to upper class white people, but I certainly believe that she knew when she undertook this "chicken project" that it would cause such a stir and uproar within our community. Another reason to denounce Oprah as one of our own.
Furthermore, shouldn't anything food-related be the furthest thing from Oprah's mind??
